The securing of different traffic nervous (track and road) are important concerning the specific safety requirements and the availability of signalling systems. One component for securing of track and road crossing areas are level crossing systems. Scheidt & Bachmann develops, plans, produces and installs level crossing systems more than 130 years. Of course, the mechanical constructions in past changed into today´s computer-controlled systems. After older generations of level crossing systems like NFA, Lo, Fü, BÜS D and EBÜT 80, Scheidt & Bachmann developed fully computer controlled BUES 2000 and electronically field components like e.g.:   

• road signals, (lights points yellow/red, flashing lights points, double flashing lights points…)
• supervision signals
• axle counter
• train detection loops
• barrier drives

Herewith was defined a new standard at signalling market. Currently there are more than 3000 BUES 2000 systems in operation and shows the flexibility and competence of Scheidt & Bachmann signalling systems.
