Innovation in our Signalling systems division has seen the introduction of LED technology into the proven BUES 2000 railway crossing technology. LED technology delivers increased visibility for improved safety, and a reduction in the system’s carbon footprint as they last longer, have a reduced level of power consumption and enjoy a reduced level of maintenance effort.

One of the most complex and largest railway crossings in Germany has already been equipped with fully electronic BUES 2000 technology and LED light signals.

The railway crossing is located in the city of Bergisch Gladbach and consists of:
