Device Management
Maintaining real time control of fare system devices is a key element of the FareGo Data revenue management system and Device Management delivers this through an easy to use GUI.
The Device Management GUI allows our customers to schedule uploads and downloads to field devices using a variety of wired or wireless communications, provides status and alarm information that can be routed to mobile phones and PDAs and delivers a command interface that also allows for real time and post operation analysis of the system.
Tariff and Operational Data Maintenance
At the heart of FareGo Data is the ability to manage both tariff and operational data easily and deliver it securely to the front end devices.
All types of tariff are supported, from flat fare to zonal and distance based ones. Maintenance tools that allow the operator to manage the end device user interface, design ticket printing and encoding and transfer tariff data in an auditable Version format mean that our customers enjoy a high degree of flexibility in managing their own fare collection system.
Smart Media Management
Scheidt & Bachmann has successfully delivered both its own and internationally recognized standards driven smartcard systems as part of its fare collection solutions.
The Revenue Management System includes both Card and Customer Management systems as well as tools to generate and administer hot and action lists, capture transaction data and configure smart products.
Accounting
As part of the Revenue Management system modules, FareGo Data provides a variety of both control and accounting functions. The modules check transaction data generated by the field devices that is checked for consistency and secured to ensure lossless transmission to the accounting systems.
FareGo Data accounting modules are provided in country specific format to meet local regulatory and operational needs.
Sales Statistics
Modern revenue management systems, particularly those that exploit the benefits of smart media, generate significant amounts of data.
