Scheidt & Bachmann has been certified to DIN/ISO 9001 since 1993. We maintain our own QA department, which is independent of all other departments. From  the beginning of developing a new product, quality assurance is incorporated in all relevant processes. Products that represent part of a system are also tested in the whole system - if required, together with the client as part of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).

Wherever possible we are independent of sub-suppliers
making delivery times and quality something that is in our own hands.

We know what is important for the manufacture of our products.

We have many years of experience and routine in the manufacture of our products.

We can also meet individual customer requirements at short notice
where necessary. Production capacities can be quickly changed, bundled or
reserved for individual products.

We know our employees and apply their strengths accordingly.

Extensive investments in our highly modern machinery park make sure that production is always up-to-date with the latest technology. We have a laser welding centre, laser cutting facilities, two high-performance laser centres with driven tools, various CNC machines, fully automatic SMD assembly systems, a light laboratory and a climate chamber for extreme temperature tests.

Approximately 570 employees work in production alone.

Our subsidiaries in Burlington (USA) and Zilina (Slovakia) have their own production sites. Manufacturing is carried out with the same demands on quality as in Germany.

Many of the employees working in the subsidiaries are trained at the main site or by employees from the parent company.
