
Dual Degree Program
Theory and practical phases alternate in the co-operational education program. After eight semesters of college study these students possess extensive practical experience in addition to the bachelor's degree. These students also have the foundation for a successful career start at Scheidt & Bachmann and have been busy building their network within the company. All of these things set a great basis for starting in a successful future together.
Study of Electrical Engineering - Dual Degree Bachelor of Engineering incl. Apprenticeship Electronics technician for devices and systems
Dual degree programs are a modern combination of company training and study. Theory and practice linked closely from the beginning. During your studies you will directly gain essential practical experience that will later be useful for your Bachelor of Engineering studies.
The practice days (three or two days) are spent in the training workshop, at the headquarters of Scheidt & Bachmann in Moenchengladbach. On these days the content of the training as an Electronics technician for devices and systems is directly tailored to your lesson plan. Furthermore, you will learn about different areas within our company. The training plan is linked to your current study plans and materials to ensure the integration of theory and practice from the beginning.
In the bachelor program for electrical engineering you will acquire a broad knowledge of the basics in mathematics, physics and electrical engineering down to microcontroller technology.
The first four semesters are a combination of education, practical experience with Scheidt & Bachmann, intensive exam preparation and in-house training a good foundation in preparation for the ICC's degree exam for electronics technician for devices and systems. After a successful Chamber of Commerce audit and five semesters, you gain the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge to prepare your thesis for your Bachelors of Engineering.

- Duration: 9 semesters
- During the semester:
- 3 Days/ wk Practical Training with Scheidt & Bachmann
- 2 Days/ wk Schooling at the FH (College)
- During Semester Breaks:
- 5 Days/ wk Practical Training with Scheidt & Bachmann
- After 4 Semesters: Final Examination in front of the IHK for your electronics technician for devices and systems
- After 9 Semesters: Writing of your Bachelor Thesis at Scheidt & Bachmann and achievement of your „Bachelor of Engineering“ degree.
Study of Business Administration - Dual Degree Bachelor of Arts incl. Apprenticeship Industrial Business Sales & Administration
The dual degree program is a combination of vocational training as an industrial business person and a Bachelor's Program with the degree Bachelor of Arts. The dual degree program combines the practical tasks in our company with the in-depth study subjects at the university.
The practice days are spent at the headquarters of Scheidt & Bachmann in Moenchengladbach. During your practical time you will rotate through departments based on your current curriculum to help gain more knowledge about the different areas. The training plan is linked to your current study plans and curriculum to ensure the integration of theory and practice from the beginning.
While studying for your Bachelors of Business Administration you will acquire expertise, ranging from the business core competencies (human resources management, taxation, investment and financing, etc.) to business computer science and business law to foreign languages, communication techniques and acting skills.
The first four semesters are a combination of practical experience with Scheidt & Bachmann, intensive exam preparation courses at the Chamber of Commerce and in-house training to create a good foundation in preparation for the ICC's degree examination to become an Industrial Business Person. After a successful Chamber of Commerce mid-study Final and another four semesters, you gain the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge to prepare your thesis for a Bachelor of Arts. Due to this solid foundation, you are prepared to start a successful career at Scheidt & Bachmann.
You will apply the theoretical knowledge gained in practice from the start and watch it grow with your experience. You get the chance to prove your skills and take responsibility.

- After 8 Semesters: Writing of your Bachelorthesis at Scheidt & Bachmann and receipt of the Degree of „Bachelor of Arts“
