In Bucuresti Mall, a modern shopping and event centre in the city of Bucuresti, Romania, a car park management system by Scheidt & Bachmann has been in service since a couple of weeks. The guests can dispose of 1,850 parking lots available.
The system is a combination of barcode and transponder technology: Short-term parkers get a barcode ticket; staff members of the Mall authorize themselves at the entry and exit units by means of a transponder.

TFT displays on the equipment and an intercom system based on VoIP stand for better customer convenience.
The legal requirements in Romania are met by a fiscal printer connected to the manual pay station.
