Internet Vouchers for the Toskana Therme |
|
Scheidt & Bachmann automates the interface between the online shop and the cashier system.
The Toskana Therme with its current locations Bad Sulza and Bad Schandau,
Germany, is a very innovative company. Since more locations are planned, the idea was born to centralise the sales of vouchers via Internet for all current and planned facilities.
The internet presentation (portal) has undergone a fundamental re-design. The portal now includes the available vouchers both for the thermal spa in Bad Sulza and in Bad Schandau and have been provided to the customers for online sales.
For a more efficient employment of the personnel available and to avoid transmission errors, the interface between the online shop and the cashier system and the interface to the financial accounting of Messrs. Datev eG were automated.
By implementing the online shop, Toskana Therme now has an infinite number of sales portals available, which can be made use of for 24 hours a day - namely the home PCs of the customers.
Having purchased the voucher, the customer can now pay it by transfer, debit note or credit card. After the receipt of payment, the online shop will send an e-mail with the barcode-loaded voucher as a PDF document to the customer and another e-mail with the voucher data to the cashier system. The cashier system immediately takes over the data from the voucher into its database.
Thus the voucher with the barcode printed by the customer can be presented a few minutes after the purchase to the cashier in the thermal Spa concerned. Absolute cash security of both systems is reached by the interface between the online shop and the cashier system.
Online shops represent a giant growth potential and enjoy a constantly growing attractiveness. The demand for “Print-at-Home Vouchers / Tickets” is increasing continuously. The previous experience of Toskana Therme has been confirmed within the past 7 months. Since the start, several thousands of vouchers were sold already via the online shop.
This interface is available to all Leisure Centre Management Systems by Scheidt & Bachmann from Release 6 onwards.
