Car Park Management whenever and wherever you want

With the new product generation of Scheidt & Bachmann, it is possible to manage the car parks independently from time and location.
This is enabled by using the WebServer and Java technology. By using an Internet browser it is now possible to log into the integrated WebServer of the Car Park Management System.
The employees of the car park can now dispose of all functions at the same time. Every working place of the existing IT infrastructure can become a system workplace worldwide, irrespective of its location.

Does your company prefer a certain manufacturer or supplier when selecting the PC hardware? No problem, because the S&B software can now be installed on any PC with sufficient capacity.
The server system is built up on a Windows operating system with an Oracle database.
For the clients we even go one step further: as a client, your PC is usable in conjunction with any operating system, browser technology and Java running time environment. The clients do not need any own database. Since these conditions are already met by most of the PCs, by nature, it will thus be possible to make use of existing PCs as clients for the car park application.
If the overall system is extended later on by certain functions, these will be available uniformly and directly to the clients, after updating the server.
In addition to the benefits mentioned above, the selection of this technology with its versatile networking capabilities enables the local independence of the operator, and this with an unforeseeable comfort. The system can be controlled and administered around the clock from any location.

Keyword: Java Technology
Java is the up-to-date software technology for future-oriented IT-systems.
With Java technology, it is possible to run any object-based programme on any computer and operating system without being changed. This system independence is possible by the Java platform, whose Virtual Machine (VM) is available free of charge for the respective computer and operating systems.
For executing of functions, all programme components needed (Java Applets) will be loaded and run on the local VM.
In conjunction with Web technology, the clients request the applets needed from the server or check whether the applets loaded last are still up-to-date.
The charming feature of this is that software updates are only required on the server and that they are automatically available to all clients.
