Globus chooses multimedia pay at the pump from Scheidt & Bachmann |
 In 17th of June, the 7th petrol station of the Globus SB-Warenhaus Holding was equipped with Scheidt & Bachmann dispensers that offer direct payment at the pump for each customer 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Concurrent to conventional payment in the shop, the quick and effortless payment procedure via touch-screen ensures smooth operation even during rush-hours, without long waiting periods for the customers.
Positive side effect for the nearby supermarket: The touch-screen simultaneously functions as an advertising area. While fuelling, customers learn on the fly everything about current promotions and special offers.
Confirmed by the excellent acceptance of the concept, Globus decided to equip additional sites with more than 40 EMV-compliant payment terminals. Of course, all pumps are provided with GRD-monitoring and fulfill all OPT and EMV requirements.
