Access control for year-round skiing season |
  Snow Planet is the first indoor skiing hall in New Zealand - and the only one in the Southern hemisphere, as the New Zealanders proudly keep pointing out.
Not far from Auckland, this winter sport resort was opened in the beginning of March 2005, where guests can (nearly) feel the atmosphere of a skiing resort all-year round - independent of any weather conditions. Scheidt & Bachmann has equipped Snow Planet with the pay station and access control system based on the ChipCoinŽ System, which can use both Snow Coins and Barcode cards in the system. To prevent any misuse with bonus or client cards, the NAW module is used, permitting each guest to have his or her own personalized Barcode card with his or her photograph. |
