Manual sales devices are provided with functions for cashing of parking fees, for the sale of value cards, vouchers and parking authorization cards for various demands and for other cashier functions.
These functions can optionally be integrated as a separate software function within a central computer (e.g. facility controller) of a car park facility.
Payment can be made with cash or cashless means of payment, depending on the equipment of the device. As an option, foreign currencies can also be used for cash payment. Cashless means of payment comprise, in addition to the classic credit, debit and purse cards, also cards produced by the owner, from which values are debited (pre-payment, e.g. value cards and vouchers) or for which transaction data are generated for later settlement (post-payment, e.g. season cards).
Cash Function with Exit Cashing
Optionally, manual sales devices can also be used for exit cashing. Therefore, these devices are provided with all functions required for exit management, including the control of an optional barrier. Usually, exit cashing is located in huts operated by a cashier. As an option, a transaction panel is located at the outside of the hut, providing all operating elements of a normal exit device.
