The modern design of the CLOU makes the forecourt of Messrs. Uesbeck look even more attractive. Easy-glide hoses that allow for a big radius as well as a its high reliability and state-of-the-art design are only a few of the outstanding characteristics because the CLOU can do more than just dispense fuel:  By means of the multimedia user interface the customer is led through the fuelling process – during and outside shop hours.

In addition to fuelling, Uesbeck focuses on the marketing of advertising space. Uesbeck has already acquired advertising partners who display and thus offer their products with the help of videos and/or pictures during the fuelling process.
The display, especially designed to be easily read in daylight, shows the latest news and traffic reports so that the customers of the petrol station are always informed and kept up-to-date.

The content is updated automatically. Also outside shop hours, Uesbeck does not want to do without the fuelling business. With the help of the CLOU, Uesbeck provides 24 hour payment in the shop or at the dispenser by card, fleet card, EC and/or T+E card.

Uesbeck, successfully run in the 2nd generation, has now been a satisfied customer of Scheidt & Bachmann for fifty years and has been a pioneer with regard to new developments. With the CLOU the company is now fully prepared for the requirement of tomorrow’s world.

Exchanging experiences, learning about new products, deepening existing product know-how – these were the leading ideas to which sales representatives of 12 countries gathered in Mönchengladbach on 19th September to exchange their experiences of the markets and combine them with fresh knowledge about the products. Of course, the focus was, in addition to novelties of the familiar product portfolio, on “Clou”, the new dispenser generation, the first series model of which found great attraction in the exhibition room. The generally positive feedback of the partners was the conclusion to repeat this event every year.

Scheidt & Bachmann has successfully finished the approval procedures for dispensers as specified in the New Standards for Weights and Measures according to Module B of the Measuring Instruments Directive (MID). The specifications of MID will be implemented in the national laws of the EU member states, thus replacing the previous specific national approval regulations. The harmonization of measuring and weighing laws will constitute a benefit both for customers and producers, because the market introduction of new products will be accelerated by eliminating the need for every country to pass a complete and time-consuming approval procedure. Instead, the unit of dispenser and POS system is approved in accordance with MID, even if originating from various producers, enabling the customer to obtain a virtual compatibility guarantee on the overall system.

There is quite something special if a company finds out after 135 years that its “second leg”, i.e. Systems for Petrol Stations, is also already 75 years in active business. That quality is an outstanding feature of Scheidt & Bachmann petrol pumps,demonstrated time and again through an above average service life, is well known throughout the trade.We recently conducted field tests on the accuracy of our electronically calibrated piston meters, in particular the measuring instrument deviation (drift.) The results were excellent and cannot currently be bettered by any other technologies. In addition, it has been shown that Scheidt & Bachmann piston meters are considerably more low maintenance than alternative spindle meters, and are not affected by particle contamination. Additional micro filters before the piston meters are therefore not required. Naturally, this leads to crucial long-term economic advantages.
