Each ZSB 2000 system has a PC for planning and diagnosis, which on the one hand only can read information, and on the other hand is connected with the safe system via a disposition interface. For diagnosis, the CAN telegrams running on the system bus are read and shown on the display by means of an evaluation program.

Diagnosis on site

A diagnosis program based on Windows is installed on the local PC. This program decodes and stores the telegrams received from the ZSB 2000 system. By means of a corresponding data management, errors and malfunctions are processed and stored for the service and repair staff. This module is identical in construction with the diagnosis of the level crossing system BUES 2000.

Diagnosis surface

Within the diagnosis system all data are stored in plain text and with a time stamp in a ring buffer. The last 1000 events can then be displayed in a window. Via menus it is also possible to display and evaluate the stored data.

Leased line modem

All operating points are connected to the diagnosis centre via a leased line modem. Data having been stored in the local diagnosis system can then be transmitted to the diagnosis centre.
