The electronic interlocking system ZSB 2000 works according to the operational method of the signalised train control. In the disposition and diagnosis level tasks are performed. The number of ZSB 2000 operating points to be connected is without significance.

The separate ZSB 2000 operating points on their part are controlling and supervising on a safe control and field level. The communication between the safe control levels is made via the line bus as a point-to-point connection.
