Tradition and Innovation, Stability and Flexibility, for these values Scheidt & Bachmann is well-known for decades already.
Since the day it was founded, Scheidt & Bachmann has been a privately owned company, now being successfully managed in its fifth generation.
In 1872 the founders, Friedrich Scheidt and Carl Bachmann, started with the manufacturing of textile machinery, transmissions and small steam engines. The building of Railway Crossing Control Systems and Signal Control Stations as well as Railroad Signal Systems followed soon after.
In 1932 Scheidt & Bachmann began with the development and the construction of petrol pumps for motorized vehicles. This marked the way from the hand-operated pump to the contemporary micro-processor controlled petrol station.
Following the demand for public car parks and garages, Scheidt & Bachmann started in 1965 with the development and production of systems for parking space management. A few years later the product range was again expanded by cash register and access control systems for public swimming pools and leisure parks.
Since the year 1978 Scheidt & Bachmann introduces also equipment and systems for ticketing technology with application in public transportation companies, from closed metropolitan systems up to servicing machines for the leisure park industry. The thorough further development of the products led finally to the development of complete management systems for petrol stations, parking garages and ticket vending machines. |
