During this year’s Cartes, the largest fair for card payment in the world, Scheidt & Bachmann will be the first supplier of petrol station systems to introduce EPAS compatible Outdoor Payment Terminals. With this development Scheidt & Bachmann are leading the industry towards the future of cashless payment. Scheidt & Bachmann is a long-standing member of the EPAS consortium and are actively involved in the development of the new universal POS protocol.
Scheidt & Bachmann have successfully implemented the EPAS interface in their Electronic Payment Server (EPS) product and OPT hardware platform.Scheidt & Bachmann has always had an innovative and customer-oriented vision, this is clearly demonstrated by this important development in cashless payment. Since 1st July 2008 Mr. Ian Jacques is our new managing director at Scheidt & Bachmann UK. In addition he will support the international business development team. Ian has good experiences in the retailing industry as well as knowledge of the petrol station business. Scheidt & Bachmann is very well prepared for the future in the British market. With the high quality product portfolio we will have a unique offering and are well placed for growth in the UK and Irish markets.
