Scheidt & Bachmann has got the order to provide the car park management system at the International Airport of San Francisco with the approved side-stripe system for about 11,400 parking lots. By more than 30 million of airline passengers, this airport takes the 12th rank of airports in USA and the 21st rank worldwide.
25 entry lanes and 38 exit lanes exist to cope with the high traffic load. Among the high security standards are the linkage to the license plate recognition system (LPR) and the linkage to the toll system FasTrack(TM) covering a total of 20 lanes. The transponders of the toll system can also be used for parking and can be settled commonly.  (May 2006)

Dynamic lighted signs shall save exhaustive searches for free space. The comfort of parking is integrated in the overall concept of the hotel.
