Visible on far distance and impressive from an architectonic viewpoint, the car parks P20 and P21 of the Neue Landesmesse Stuttgart span over the motorway A8.
On windy heights the fair visitors will have more than 4000 parking lots available. The car parks and the additional parking areas of the fair are equipped with a Car Park Management System based on barcode technology by Scheidt & Bachmann. The various parking areas are controlled, in terms of administration and operation, by a central master level.

The more impressive was the International Sales Meeting of the Parking and Leisure Centre Systems sales division taking place end of April 2007 here in our headquarters in Mönchengladbach: 82 colleagues coming from more than 30 nations represented the subsidiary companies and agencies of Scheidt & Bachmann worldwide.

Since April Scheidt & Bachmann is supplying a new generation of automatic pay stations to its customers in Europe and Asia. Now as before, the customers can make use of the very attractive option of individual colour design. Thus, the automatic pay stations can get an own individuality or can be adapted to the company-own "Corporate Design". Illuminated ticket chutes or ChipCoin® and coin slots increase the operating comfort. The automatic pay stations are available in two different frame sizes: "Modular" and in the smaller version "Compact".

With the "Modular" variation you can choose between two display formats (12.1" TFT and 6.4" TFT). The automatic pay station is provided with the well-tried coin processor that is suited for any demand. Four products with different functions are available for banknote processing. If desired, a bank note dispenser can also be installed.

The season in the leisure and adventure parks has begun. Punctually at the beginning of the season, a new car park management system has been commissioned in HANSA-PARK at Sierksdorf, a barcode system from Scheidt & Bachmann. The sequence of parking has specifically adapted to the desires of the HANSA-PARK. At the entrance the barrier opens automatically without issuing a parking ticket. The guests buy valid tickets for leaving the park at the automatic pay stations against a lump sum price.

The Canberra Centre, an attractive shopping centre in the Australian capital, was been extended on a large scale. By this extension, the Canberra Centre now takes the first position as the largest and most innovative retail and leisure centre in the Australian Capital Territory ACT. Since its finishing, the Canberra Centre includes not only 300 shops but also cinemas, restaurants, cafés and extended car park facilities, equipped with a Scheidt & Bachmann system.
