In Bucuresti Mall, a modern shopping and event centre in the city of Bucuresti, a car park management system by Scheidt & Bachmann has been in service since a couple of weeks. The guests can dispose of 1,850 parking lots available.
The system is a combination of barcode and transponder technology: Short-term parkers get a barcode ticket; staff members of the Mall authorize themselves at the entry and exit units by means of a transponder.

The car park management system of the indoor car park in the Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin, Germany, has been brought to the newest state of the art. The hotel managers have again decided to have the technology update done by Scheidt & Bachmann.
The entire system including entry and exit devices, barriers, automatic pay stations and cell computers have been exchanged completely and is now based on barcode technology. Season parkers such as personnel or concierges can access the parking space by means of transponder cards.
In the Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin, the car park management system by Scheidt & Bachmann is running since its first installation in the year 1997. The operator is APCOA Parking Service GmbH.    (November 2008)

With the opening of the leisure and shopping centre "Zehlendorfer Welle" in Berlin, Germany, the car park management system was also taken into service. The car park operator Contipark, who runs the 360 parking units in the indoor car park, has decided for the approved technique of Scheidt & Bachmann. By this installation, Scheidt & Bachmann again has made sure that the leisure and shopping centres could meet the specific requirements that leisure and shopping centres pose on a car park management system. Both short-time and season parkers use different control media. The short-time parkers receive a side-strip ticket while season parkers make use of their access permit by means of their transponder cards.

The necessary number of truck parking spaces is by far different than the number of currently available parking spaces. Many trucks park in access and exit roads of lay-bys endangering the traffic. But not even the load of trucks is sure. The raids on trucks and truck drivers have continually increased in the past few years. Often it is a case of burglary, but it has become a matter of habit to steal complete trucks with their loads.
To encounter this tendency, more and more truck parking areas have been equipped with security-related technology. With entervo, Scheidt & Bachmann is providing an enclosed system with modular structure.

At the new terminal of Luxemburg Airport, a new car park management system of Scheidt & Bachmann was installed. In two separate major parking areas, an indoor car park and the so-called Kiss & Fly car park, there are about 4100 parking lots available to flight passengers and staff members of the airport.
The integrated parking guidance system permits quick orientation. The vacant parking lots are very quickly detected by means of direction notes and displays.
