Fair tickets with two-dimensional bar code |
|
Scheidt & Bachmann has extended its activities in access control of fairs and stadiums. In the large project of "Neue Messe Stuttgart" (New Stuttgart Exhibition Centre, Germany), Scheidt & Bachmann both furnishes the entire access control system of the exhibition centre and the ultramodern parking system. The high-performance access gate XTS35 is equipped for the Exhibition Centre of Stuttgart with an omni-directional bar code scanner and with a 10.4" TFT colour screen. The bar code scanner reads bar codes on tickets of various sizes, e.g. also “Print-at-home tickets”, which fair visitors can print on their own PC printers in A4 size. |

Successful Access to the World of Exhibitions |
Scheidt & Bachmann have successfully mastered the entrance into the international market of cashier and access control systems for exhibitions, in the first run.
During the triple fair event aquanale, SOLARIA and FSB, that took place in the halls of Koelnmesse (Germany) in the last October week, S&B presented to the public its new development, both on the fair stand and as a live system.
In less than one year, the innovative company had made its way from declaring its intention to introducing an established cashier and access control system. However, one of the reasons for the overwhelming success is the close co-operation with T-Systems and Koelnmesse. |
