The Intertraffic of this year in Amsterdam was a huge success for Scheidt & Bachmann. The house of systems of Mönchengladbach (Germany) impressively demonstrated its innovative strength, by future-oriented developments. A particular highlight has been the launch of the new brand for products and services in the parking and access business: entervo. The feedback on this subject has exclusively been a positive one. The fair visitors showed enthusiastic and convinced reactions on the new software generation entervo.com 1. After numerous presentations, there was one opinion dominating: entervo.com 1 is the optimum environment to bring car park management to perfection.

The modern design of the CLOU makes the forecourt of Messrs. Uesbeck look even more attractive. Easy-glide hoses that allow for a big radius as well as a its high reliability and state-of-the-art design are only a few of the outstanding characteristics because the CLOU can do more than just dispense fuel:  By means of the multimedia user interface the customer is led through the fuelling process – during and outside shop hours.

In addition to fuelling, Uesbeck focuses on the marketing of advertising space. Uesbeck has already acquired advertising partners who display and thus offer their products with the help of videos and/or pictures during the fuelling process.
The display, especially designed to be easily read in daylight, shows the latest news and traffic reports so that the customers of the petrol station are always informed and kept up-to-date.

The content is updated automatically. Also outside shop hours, Uesbeck does not want to do without the fuelling business. With the help of the CLOU, Uesbeck provides 24 hour payment in the shop or at the dispenser by card, fleet card, EC and/or T+E card.

Uesbeck, successfully run in the 2nd generation, has now been a satisfied customer of Scheidt & Bachmann for fifty years and has been a pioneer with regard to new developments. With the CLOU the company is now fully prepared for the requirement of tomorrow’s world.

Scheidt & Bachmann won another contract on the Swiss market to install a new fare collection system. This is the next step to strengthen the market position and the opportunity to underline Scheidt & Bachmann's advantages and reliability. The installations will be realised in Neuchâtel. This is the first fare collection project for Scheidt & Bachmann that will be managed in French.

The necessity of modernising the fare collection systems in this region came up with the implementation of an integrated fare association (Onde Verte) in Neuchâtel and Jura.
The resulting improvement and faster handling of their future fare collection system guarantees obvious advantages for the users as well as for the operators.

In total 245 TVMs, 102 FareMaster, 290 Validators, 4 POScoms and the Central Support System (CSS) will be delivered.

There is quite something special if a company finds out after 135 years that its “second leg”, i.e. Systems for Petrol Stations, is also already 75 years in active business. Although this is a tradition in the system house Scheidt & Bachmann, a family enterprise that is doing business meanwhile worldwide with four steadily growing legs, but there is still an occasion for a look-back to 75 years of technological progress and growing turbulence in an industry that has been clearly influenced by Scheidt & Bachmann is a specialist with many years of experience.
